Transport Services
Our location affords us with easy access to all the major arterials, which enables fast efficient service. This access also assists us when dealing with larger or heavier loads
Sideloader
Sideloaders can move one single 20ft or 40ft shipping container or two 20ft shipping containers. When delivering containers, the sideloader lifts the containers off to the right-hand side of the truck (drivers side), when planning your sideloader delivery you can arrange to have the container loaded with the doors facing to the rear or front of the truck giving you best access to the container once placed on the ground at your premises.
Skel trailer
Skel (Skeletal) trailers can carry heavier loads due the structure and material used for the frame of the trailer being of a lighter weight material
Retractable trailers
Retractable trailers can carry heavier loads and have three main configurations which can move the to the following shipping container sizes
:• Retractable (9.3 – 12.2m) TL6 (one or two 20ft, or one 40ft container capacity)
• Tag Retractable (9.8m to 12.7m) to carry up to 40ft containers
• Tag Retractable (10.2m to 13.73m) to carry up to 45ft containers
B-Double/Super B-Double (Super B)
B-Double and Super B’s are a combination of a Prime mover coupled with two trailers
• B-Double: Prime mover with a 20ft trailer (A) and a 40ft trailer (B)
• Super B: Prime mover with 40ft trailer (A) and 40ft trailer (B) These combinations enable you to move multiple containers at the same time after considering weight and road limits.
Drop Deck/Flatbed
Drop Deck/Flatbed trailers are a platform semi-trailer that has two deck levels. The floor drops down allowing the transport of taller, heavier and wider loads.
Tautliner
Tautliner is a generic name for curtain sided trucks and trailers. The curtains are on runners, top and bottom and can be pulled back and forklifts can access all sides for easy and efficient loading and unloading of LCL or palletised cargo. When closed for travel vertical load retaining straps are tightened between the runners, hence the ‘Tautliner” name.
